00individual has been blessed to have had his main artistic and creative goals thankfully achieved. As a teen he wanted to earn a living creating art in his home studio – as a successful textile designer, and later as a successsful action figure, collectible statue. and toy designer that goal was achieved.
With POPCULTIONS, 00 chose to create one of a kind iconic and rare characters in 3.75″ to .575″ (1/12 and 1/18) scale from music, movies, TV, comics, and pop culture for collectors.
As posted last August. Drew Ford of It’s Alive comics got The go-ahead from the ROACHMILL creators Tom McWeeny snd Rich Hedden to publish the re-introduction of the series. Very unfortunately, Ford died before publication, however, the comic community stepped-in to see a follow-thru of his vision.
COMIC BOOKS / GRAPHIC NOVELS
The ’80s saw the emergence and revitalization of the comic industry with the “graphic novel” led by Frank Miller’s” Batman: The Dark knight Returns”.
This was a very fun time for 00 and his young son, an avid reader, with regular trips to the local comic shop to pick up on the latest issues of; TMNT, Real Ghostbusters, John Constantine Hellblazer, the truly laff out loud The Tick, Excaliber, Thundercats, Wolverine, and many more, including Roachmill.
00 had always wanted to get into the comic field but it became a very competitive and over-crowded venture – plus you had to be really good.
When asked to use the ROACHMILL POPCULTICONS as a varient cover, 00 was thrilled. how cool is that? To be able to have a copy of Roachmill #1 with 00’s 3D art on the cover of one of their fave books was a trip to be sure.

Work from his home studio continued with he action figure biz; sculpting and designing at the perfect time (mid-to-late ’90s) with his legacy and wildly popular design of BCA (Bone Crunching Action) for Jakks Pacific WWF licensed action figure line, and later iwith his C.O.G.J.I.T. (Center Of Gravity Joint Integrity Technology) design for his own licensed Mortal Kombat line of action figures in 2000.
With artistic and creative goals still being met at 72, 00 will retire when he physically retires, casts off the mortal coil, moves on, and welcomes a new trip of creativeness.
And although not a series or movies – as of yet – 00 is actively promoting
The Stoned Private Eye – psychedelic noir thrillers set in the’70s,
with three seasons of thirteen hour-long (fifteen to twenty minute read) “movies in your mind” episodes each.
